Terms of Use

Welcome to Emori. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Emori LLC ("Emori", "we", "us") governing your use of the Emori mobile app and the website at app.emori.co. By creating an account or using Emori, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Emori. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@emori.co if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos, videos, and text you upload to Emori ("Your Content"). By uploading content to Emori, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the service and making it viewable to people you share your code with.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring that you have the right to upload and share it.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload, share, or attach content to a code that:

  • Is illegal, fraudulent, or violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Is abusive, threatening, hateful, harassing, or promotes violence.
  • Is sexually explicit or pornographic.
  • Infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right.
  • Violates someone's privacy, including images or recordings shared without consent.
  • Contains malware, spam, or attempts to compromise the security of Emori or its users.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

5. Reporting Content

If you encounter content on Emori that violates these Terms, you can report it from the public code viewer page or by emailing support@emori.co. We review every report and take appropriate action.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans may be offered through our website or, where required, through the app platform's billing system. Subscription terms, renewals, cancellations, and refund rules depend on where the plan was purchased. If you subscribed through Apple, manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account. If you subscribed through our website, manage your billing from your web account billing page. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your content is permanently deleted.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Emori is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Emori LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted at app.emori.co/terms with an updated effective date. Continued use of Emori after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
