Frequently Asked Questions

How does Emori work?

You create a unique code in the app and attach it to any physical object — a gift, a card, a keepsake. When someone types or scans the code at app.emori.co, they unlock your private message of photos, videos, and text.

Do recipients need to download the app?

No. Anyone can view a message by visiting app.emori.co and entering the code — no app, no account required.

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you subscribed through Apple, manage your subscription from your Apple Account subscriptions. If you subscribed through our website, sign in to app.emori.co and visit your billing page. Website billing is managed outside the iOS app.

How do I delete a code or memory?

Open the app → tap the code in My Messages → tap the menu and choose Delete. Deleted codes are no longer viewable by anyone, and the public viewer page becomes inaccessible immediately.

How do I delete individual photos or videos from a code?

Open the code in My Messages → tap the photo or video → choose Remove. The removed item is no longer shown to viewers.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app → Profile → tap Delete Account at the bottom. This permanently deletes your account, all codes, photos, videos, and messages. The action cannot be undone. If you have trouble, email support@emori.co for assistance.

How do I report inappropriate content?

If a code displays content that is abusive, illegal, explicit, hateful, threatening, or violates someone's privacy, tap Report content at the bottom of the public viewer page (or email support@emori.co with the code). We review every report and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate our policies.

What happens if I forget my password?

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password and enter your email. We'll send you a link to reset it.

What types of content can I attach to a code?

Photos, videos, and a text message. Limits depend on your account type.

Is my content private?

Yes. Only people you share your unique code with can view the content. Codes are not listed publicly or indexed by search engines.
